Adam Rosenthal

Adam Rosenthal is an active duty Law Enforcement Officer for the City of Delray Beach, Florida.

Adam is currently assigned to the department’s Training Unit full time and is the departments Lead Defensive Tactics Instructor. As a Police Tactics Instructor, Adam has trained at several Police Academy’s and at several different Police Departments. He instructs over 400 hours per year in service training and is a Lead Instructor for the Officer Survival School and Ground Defense Tactics Course that has taught over 400 Officers from over 30 different agency’s. He is a S.W.A.T Defensive Tactics Instructor and has taught over 100 S.W.A.T. operators in multi-agency training. Adam is also currently on the S.W.A.T. Team as an assault team operator. As a member of the Team, Adam has executed hundreds of High Risk Warrants and Critical Incident situations.

Starting in 1995, Adam served first on Road Patrol and then in 1996 was assigned to a Narcotics Task Force. While on the Task Force he made over 3,000 arrests and was recognized by the State of Florida as one of the Narcotics Officers of the Year for 2001. In addition, Adam received recognition from the United States Attorney’s Office as one of the Outstanding Law Enforcement Officers of the Year for his work on several Federal Firearms cases. Adam has served as an Undercover Officer and been a part of hundreds of Sting, Buy / Busts, and Reverse Operations.

In his spare time Adam is also a martial arts instructor. With almost 20 years of experience and black belts in Judo, Ju-Jitsu, and Karate, Adam has been teaching self-defense to about 200 full-time students in the South Florida area. He is also a certified Rape Aggression Defense Instructor and has been teaching Rape Defense classes to South Florida women for the past several years.
